Jeep shite: '96 Cherokee 4L Beating around the bushes

The Cherokee developed a very nasty vibration again a couple of days ago. Knowing that the universal joints in the driveshafts are OK, it had to be a clutch or transmission problem. So, off to the mechanic's and another bout of surgery and back it comes with a new clutch and absolutely no vibration - it's the smoothest it's ever been, in fact. An unplanned expense but a good result.
