This popped up on on RR the other day in response to our very own Volksangyls unfortunate incident with the rear of a mobility mobile.

I watched the first video and knew instantly the chap, RestoDan, is abit of a legend.

1) for using this thing to do actual work, and

2) for rescuing old tat like his '63 Impala and the T-bird in the video.

 

 

So then I had to watch his other videos, not a happy subject matter at first, but it just goes to show how stong these old things are, and how much determination/skill Dan has. This is Mr Boll-rivaling heroics...

Isn't there just, which makes it all the more shocking when you see the damage that was caused by a VW Jetta (albeit a newish one travelling at 70+)

 

I bet they felt it the next day...

Though it must've been one hell of a bang to tweak the frame, separate the leafspring and shatter the bellhousing!

 

I'm actually yet to watch the last couple of videos to see how it went back together and how it drives, I'll do that this evening.
