Anyone remember those 'Drive on' car ramp kit doodahs?

Borrowed a set from a work mate back in the late 1980's.. Proper handy! A massive collection of angle iron that enabled you* to construct a sort of mini Forth Bridge upon which you could drive your chosen shiter/treasured car. Raised the car by around three feet to ( in my case ) replace a clutch in a Volvo 440.... Never seen one before or since! The entire thing was around twenty foot long when assembled. Like a sort of car transporter wagon without the wagon.. In kit form. Borrowed it from a dairy farmer, oddly nicknamed Piggy... Who used to work at Lucas Automotive as an engineer! Surreal but true! Do these things still exist? If so I need to borrow one again!

No, was much longer, you assembled the thing on a drive or where ever, and drove up and onto it. It was properly made, not something Piggy had chucked together!

KruJoe will make you one out of some old railway sleepers, oil drums and loaves of bread that have gone hard.

Now, that's the kind of thing! Bigger run up, slightly more solid looking and fitted in the boot of a Volvo 440 but on the right track.... Could have been stale loaves in hindsight.. The 80's after all!

Did KruJoe also not have any pigs? Not sure if that matter though...
