MG Rover SE meet, 23/9/12

Living in the heart of Essex means most local one-make meets have a heavy blue-oval bias. This was one of those events I've known about for a long time, and the promise of a local dealer bringing an MG6 along and offering test drives made me get off my arse and head down to Brentwood this afternoon. Sadly the MG6 did not turn up, but there were some very nice cars there, despite the appalling weather.

I think the 75 two tone paint was part of the 'Monogram' colour range.I used to see a dark over light green 75 a few years back

Two-tone 75 doesn't work for me, the 800 Police car is wonderful

Taken by the lady who owned the Police 800. Did you turn up in a Brown Metro as that was the car of the day for her.

Ah, that picture must have been taken before I got there then, as I watched the MJS van drive off. He was probably out on a test drive with someone, shame, it would have been nice to have a look around the '6'.

 

The brown Metro wasn't mine, but it really was stunning. I did get a picture, but only a shit one as the bloke was driving away, I guess he wanted to get it tucked back up in its garage.
