Sounds nasty, not heard of it specifically but The Real Hustle did something similar, which had a normal number hooked up to a £4/min number, they took thousands. It's why I'm reluctant to let randomers borrow my mobile to call home etc

I've been far too trusting in the past on the basis of my own judgment. Luckily nothing like this has happened to me but I do realise I should be more careful.
