Hi Gents,

 

Just discovered this site via a comment in Practical Classics from Sam Glover.

 

Looks a decent site, some members will recognise me from a variety of other sites including Retro Rides and Pistonheads.

 

I restore classics (along with a sensible day job at the moment although I do fancy going back in to cars full time) and enjoy a variety of nice classic and sports cars as well as interesting bangers.

 

Current banger of choice has been a foray away from my usual taste of German barge usually Audi B3/B4 based (the last one being a fantastic and very rapid Audi 90 20v) and is a black 1.8 MX5. Well it's an Automobile and it's certainly been Shite, it takes a special kind of engineering to make a car rot worse than the classic British cars it was designed to ape.

 

Luckily I've just bought a B3 Audi Coupe Quattro 20v which will be the basis of the next project, I need a towbar and an exhaust and a few other bits for it.

 

Then I have the MX5 to break for bits.

I might be able to help with the towbar. I have one on my 93 coupe that I am not sure if I want or not. An offer of some money for it might make that decision for me.
