Had a few days in Hungary and took a few photos.

It seems Trabants are definitely seen as a classic, as nearly every one I saw was immaculate and several had "Trabant & Wartberg Owners Club" stickers on them.

I was trying to snap one lovely citroen, when a BX slipped into the picture unnoticed

Is it terrible that I'm starting to rather like the design of the early Matiz?

Dented Ascona next to what must have been some kind of rare racing Audi

I once had one of these in white with every bit of paper documented from new (including advert) for £125, it was incredibly reliable and slightly crusty, sold to the delivery driver at work's son and it's apparently been all over Europe and still going strong.

Bad photo of a "history limousine" - we were trying to figure out what van they were probably based on:

FInally, not shite, but lurvly:

I've never seen one in that colour combination before, I nearly spaffed.

Wow. Nice holiday snaps!

You're not alone in liking the early Matiz. I bought one brand new. Great cars - well, as long as you don't like actual cornering.

The Wartburg looks a late one with the VW engine.
