mk1_4dr Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Another month, another great meet. I have to say, I was hoping to get the Chrysler there, but by Friday afternoon I knew that wasn't going to happen. So, after a manic afternoon getting the exhaust on the Golf sealed, I had a trundle upto MorrisOxides place to grab a lift down in something really cool. Little did I know that I'd had a glut of HotRods waiting on me.... A little street, lined with interesting cars.... so we had a bit of a cruise through the tunnels under Leeds. it'd be rude not to. and all that was before we'd even arrived Kustom Saab Beautiful Desoto was too big to get a proper picture of.. Fit old Ford Frankly MASSIVE Peterbuilt Box-fresh GSi 'Stang lent itself to being photographed Gorgeous RanchWagon always catches my eye... Super-slammed Golf on (I think) 13s Perhaps the most awesome push-iron Ive ever seen Nice clean Saph would look better on standard rims (In my humble opinion) JeepersCreepers Volvo+Wheels+Polish-Altitude=MASSIVE WIN Nice mk2 Aircooled guys like it crazy low Serious Escorts Ratty Plymouth was six or seven different shades of cool Big Fords together Vauxhall looked well on powdercoated Interceptor rims Deminutive GT was wearing very 'euro' wheels, and packing hidden firepower... 1992 called... etcetc... Our ride for the evening, now with added lows... Very tidy Chevette was driven by a young lad, nice to see. Marks Fox Body is running a freshly built 302. Built for drags, but he's taking it up the hill at RRG Elan+2 was lovely. Nice little natter to the owner too. Cream Pop, on detailed slots and whitewalls. Shouldn't work but does. Moggyvan from afar.. The proportions of this were discussed at the time, some nice work has gone into it though... James, haha, you've been snapped And you have to admit, its a pretty fleet.. So, next month should see me in the Chrysler for sure. I can't wait to see how its received..
wackywacerwill Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 That Volvo is great though given the choice of the bunch I'd have Mr.Oxides Morris any day of the week.
Wilko220 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Yes - I, too, love the Volvo for it's ridiculousness if nothing else. Some gr9 photography skillz there, as well as some interesting motors, Mk1...
jonny69 Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 You can almost smell that Plymouth interior from here!
