Kicking off my selection tonight with a visit to Builth Wells, where a fine 120Y can be seen (DVLA says it lasted until 1985).

Let's stop for a cuppa as we head back to England, looking wistfully back at the Severn Bridge:

Somehow, I bet it wasn't quite as stylish as this place in Germany although I doubt a good cup of tea could be found here:

Here's my copy of the card that KG included in his original post:

Compare and contrast with this later card:

I suppose this level of traffic (and more) was what Swampy and co were fighting to save:

Heading further down the East Coast brings us to Lowestoft, with one of those Leyland lorries with the unfeasibly tall cab:

Thanks for putting these up, really enjoyed looking at them, particularly this one:

I've lived in Brussles on and off since the early 90s. When we first arrived there, the first place we lived in was the round the corner from the EEC building. Looking at the picture, you'll see a road that passes the EEC building that goes from the right-hand side of the picture up to the park in the top-left hand corner, just before the park, there are 2 low-rise buildings, I lived in the one nearest the park. Then, later on, up until a few years ago, I lived in one of the first few buildings on the right-hand side of the long straight road that goes off top of the picture near the left. The area around the EEC building is called 'Schuman'.

The EEC building had undergone some serious refurbishment and rebuilding after asbestos was found in the walls, the work started around the time I was still living there and finished not long ago. Whilst that was going on some of the huge building in Schuman have either been demolished or refurbed.

Ole Fatha Sterling still lives near the area and I visit as often as I can (which is about once a year :( )

Tunbridge Wells is still the same - the pic with the grass and flower beds is from the corner of the town hall, oppsite Lloyds Bank, the orange shop front bit tis the old Jobcentre signage. You could lose that and the vehicles and it could be today!

Same for The Pantiles, that is exactly the same - add your own Septic tourists looking for the Pan -Tillies.......not that I told them they were standing on them...hey I got bored working in an office down there.
