Im after replaceing the points on the wee colt for something more reliable

 

i have looked at a few and emailed with car details but none available for your model is the usual responce any ideas or recomendations welcome

Replace with electronic ignition - you can get kits for it, do a search on Bedford Rascal electronic ignition conversion, that's how I did mine.

thats what ive been looking for but so far no luck i dont want a kit that adds boxes and wires just the hiden type inside the distributor.

yes i would usually agree with you but two sets later im inclined to change my mind a little, the car

starts and runs very well when the new points and condensor where fitted but after about 50 miles back to normal, when i pop the cap of they are pitted, points number two same senario, the car still goes and starts but the difference is noticable from newly fitted.

just thought that electronic would be better but no luck as yet.
