Crusty Modern-shite… Bodyshop recommendations?

I dragged my modern shite out from its 4 month winter hibernation a few weeks back, and unfortunately it’s been blotting its copybook ever since… Radio packed in, screen washer pump died, battery giving up the ghost (despite spending the 4 months plugged into a battery conditioner / being started and drove around the block occasionally).

Anyhow, replaced the battery / pump / reset the radio, but a bigger problem has become evident… Crusty arches and a crusty sill... :(

The join between the NSR three-quarter panel and sill always did look like someone may have rubbed it down, and touched it up with a slightly different shade of paint – Now it’s starting to erupt.

Also, the inside lips on both rear arches are very crusty – Non-evident at a glance, but if you have a good look up into the arch it’s immediately obvious.

I did buy what was the cheapest S2000 in the UK at the time (by some margin) for not much more than some have spent on shite purchases – I accept it will have a slightly dubious history, and I reckon the NSR has had some form of bodywork to scenery interface. (The rear wheel arch liners are also missing, which is apparently the root cause of stone chips leading to arch crust in these).

That aside, the chassis geo’d straight, and mechanically it’s fine… I tend to use it to blez around on the odd track day, with the peasant-spec Pug now considered the daily driver.

I guess I need to get someone to chop the outer arches out and weld in some new tin – As well as flap wheel the sill, and treat the grot there.

Can anyone recommend a bodyshop they’d trust to do a decent job of this, and not rip me off? (Not after a complete budget bodge, but given that the car is only worth a few grand and is used mainly on track, I’m less than keen to drop a fortune on it…)

Car lives in Scotland, so up there would be handy – But I spilt my time between there and London, so could drop it anywhere between. (And leave it for up to a month or so, if needed).

Suggestions appreciated! :)

Where in Scotland is it?

Just outside Stirling, in the Hillfoots area (fairly central).

Likesay, happy to travel more or less anywhere that'll do a decent job for a reasonable outlay... :)
