Lord Sterling's fleet of failure - Belgium spots and ill Vectra

Right. Last night in Belgium. So what's new?

The Vectra definately now needs immidiate attention. So that'll be more money out of my bank, going back to the bad old days of paying out more than I earn 🤨

The Vectra has been using quite a bit of coolant m, 4 times in 9 days which is never a good sign on any car. However, there are no signs of oil mixing, oil cap is clean, not much of a coolant smell, there is bluey-black smoke occasionally when I blib the revs a bit which is down to leaking oil. I want to say that given it leaks here and there, it likely to be a leak somewhere. It always goes down to this point, usually when parked up after a drive. (Ignore the white residue around the cap area, that's just spillage which was cleaned up after)

I've contacted a Walsall-based Vauxhall whisperer who has a penchant for Vectra Bs. I'll be speaking to him in a couple of days to see where we're going with this car. I'd like to say that I would like to try and borrow some monies from somewhere to get the mechanicals tip top as this car is just great at being what it is, an car but with added versatility, a bit coolness added and sounds utterly gorgeous.

However, there is still PHAT load of stuff to do, we're entering summer and I STILL haven't sorted the air-con. It STILL needs proper sized tyres etc...

Anyway. It's so far done a good journey and a good thing of being AN CAR. Here are some pics including spots I've done. Soz for some of the poor pics, lots of traffic etc...

I actually had reason to park in the Woluwe carpark of UTTER FAILURE as I had absolutely bugger all money to pay for even half an hour parking in the shopping centre, which is just across the road. The shite I spotted last year was still here, that includes a Renault Megane that was listed as stolen from Holland.
