Rear footrest help

I,am after a pair of grey rear footrests and i think some BMWs from the mid 90s had them as standard,can anyone tell me if thats right and maybe tell me any other cars that had rear footrests fitted?

I would guess some mercs/audis.

W126 Mercedes SELs had them. Quite probably still available from Mercedes dealers.
