BMW 740i For Sale, Scotchland - £650

I've had this 740i for a few months but I recon it's time to sell it now the SD1's nearly finished.

Its got an mot until Feb 2013, taxed until July this year and I've just put new front discs and pads on it. Oh and it's done 271,000 miles.

As you'd expect from a car with a 4 litre v8 it's rapid and sounds fantastic (although part of this maybe because there's a slight blow from one of the exhaust manifolds).

Fuel wise it's not fantastic but probably better than you'd think. I seem to get about 20mpg from it but I recon 25mpg would be on the cards if you drove it normally and not like your hairs on fire like I tend to do.

It drive great. No bangs or rattles, not even the standard BMW 56mph wobble that seems to be default with these things. The interior is in fantastic condition. Infact I think it must have been changed at some point as there's no scuff's or wear at all really given the mega miles. It's got electric windows, sunroof, mirrors that dip when you go into reverse, full electric seats including the eleccy headrests, electrically adjustable steering column it even has a 90's car phone for you young shitexecs. The previous owner has also upgraded the lights to HID, which makes a different on dark nights in scotchland.

 

I've just put a set of 17" alloys on it with good tyres (not wan kings). I fluked a good buy with these it seems as they're quite rare racing dyamics and I think theysuit the car pretty well.

 

Bad bits are it could do with a tidy up below the door trims. Nothing awful (worst bit is passenger rear arch) but there's a few blebs and I think it would really smarten it up. There's also a dent in the bootlid were a slate pa-doinged off it.. The sunroof is also a bit sticky, the airbag light is on for a couple of minutes then goes out and the audio unit with the telly in it doesn't work so no tunes. These units are pretty cheap off ebay as the telly's useless now the analog signals been turned off.

 

£650 as there's lots of them out there for this money with no mot, shit wheels, knackered interior etc but obviously the mileage and body work stuff has to be taken into account but I bet there's not many of them drive as well as this one.

I'm in Ayrshire Scotchland and would maybe swap/px for something unsuitable
