gtd2000 Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Item 1: Item 2: Now this might all seem fairly normal - but these are both the 10 year anniversary edition "Si" models that came with alloys and air conditioning and a meagre 1.3L fuel injected 12 valve engine. Both were owned by the same person (me) They were only available for one year - might be collectors items..... Just try and find another "Si" model for sale in the country - you'll probably be far more likely to find an F reg Proton on the road!
gtd2000 Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 The blue one was great deal. A 32,000 mile ex old giffer owner for £550 and in almost as new condition to boot!

ProgRocker Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I like the blue one too. I much prefer the ex-Mitsubishi Protons over their own design attempts to be honest.

j-j Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 My mate's dad had an M reg persona. It had the bizarre combo of central locking and keep fit windows. It also sported a double DIN stereor position. It lasted 6 years until the radiator rotted out then the boot floor rotted. Still, had some character

It also sported a double DIN stereor position. It lasted 6 years until the radiator rotted out then the boot floor rotted. Still, had some character I had to replace the radiator in the silver car. An old CA model Colt was the donor. There were some minor differences to the original Proton unit but it all fitted in quite easily. I'd happily have another Si model but I've never seen another for sale for years now...
eddyramrod Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 The Mitzi versions of these are all over the place in Cyprus. It's not difficullt to pick one up for quite small sums. If they drive anything like the MPi we had, they'll be highly acceptable.
