Car cover advice

I need to get my Lotus Elite over to my house as its garaged at my dads who has been doing a few jobs on it ,but has been taken ill.

I need to get a good car cover for it as my house doesn,t have a garage, its very secure here but i need advice on what cover is best, don,t forget its fibreglass,so i worry about sweating etc,but it will be uncovered very often and its for about 3-4 months max then back to its garage,i just need to finish a few jobs.

So whats the best cover for it?One that DOESN,T leak or water seep through etc,was thinking about one of those tube framed up and over jobbies that don,t actually touch the car,any thoughts or anything like this for sale on here??

I would say that sounds ideal, the up-and-over cover. Have you looked for such a thing on ebay? IIRC one end is bolted into the ground, so you'll never have to worry about it flying away.

If you're safe from wind action, perhaps one like mine will do the job? They're available on Amazon from 59.99.

According to my limited resarch, the Amazon ones have sides too...

If it's just a few months, I'm not sure I'd bother with a cover. Any cover that rests on the bodywork is going to run the risk of causing damage if it gets a bit breezy. I'd just live with it seeing as the body is plastic - unless it's well leaky.
