I've been unable to find anything out about it on the internet. The Fiberfab Sherpa I found yes, the Citroen Pony yes but the "Mapz Pickup" nothing.

Eh que??? The door doesn't look like it's from the same era as the rest of it. 'Mapz' is prob Greek script which I guess makes it harder to find on t'internet :?

The door looks a bit Ford-like.

I would suggest the rest is fibreglass, made by some tiny manufacturer in small numbers!

MAPZ would be Greek for MARZ, which I gather (from Wikipedia so it must be true) was one of several Greek companies who made three wheel trucks to fit with a local tax break in the 1960s/70s. This one may have had a home made conversion to four wheels, or maybe MARZ made it that way. Either way, my guess is that this one sports a 1970s facelift on a late 50s design, hence the styling mash-up.

Edited to add: Weapons-grade shite, whatever :D . Great spot and thanks for posting!

The Liepedia article looks right to me. The military junta was keen to boost industrial production, and several 3-wheelers and other shite creations (all of them using imported mechanicals) were built in their time ('67-74).

I remember looking inside and the engine was there right by your feet :) And it was certainly fiberglass.... I'm going on Google now to look at "MARZ"

Somewhere on Zakynthos there's a Range Rover and a Nissan 4x4 Pick Up truck. The Rangie is a nice one, H plate H707 PDC , the Nissan pick up was shagged as it had been there for eight years when I drove it... still on Wigan plates. Also, there's a C plate Fiesta D that probably still has Merseyside plates.

There was a lovely old 'B' plate Rangie, white 3.5 four door with AC which just needed a bit of work to make nice again. Stank like a chicken shed as they carried food, hay, chickens, anything in it
