Does the CX digital clock unit definitely work, is it just the clock unit that sits behind the centre dashboard console (or the whole console) and is it still for sale?

yes it is still for sale, it worked last time I used it which was about 3 years ago, been in a dry dresser drawer in the house since.

 

Console? well the CX 'Clock' Unit is basically a digital clock set into a mounting plastic unit which is about 8 inches long by 3 wide - you essentially swap the whole unit over - there is a 5 pin din behind it that plugs into the socket on the car.
