This is a terrible story. It was on the local news when it happened but I don't know how much further afield it got.

Poor guy, and his father. Fair amount of nonsense in the comments, of course. Sounds like he knew what he was doing (well, more or less), knew it was dangerous and ran out of luck doing what he enjoyed. Very sad, but these things do sometimes happen in motorsport.
