I had suggested buying a Galant and considering an LPG conversion.

 

There's an LPG-converted one on Bumtree for just £650! Full MOT, too!

Scooters was a couple of weeks back, but he found himself another Legacy. It being our Scoot though, that may well have died by now; for sure it'll at least have lunched its alternator

 

The dent in the door makes that Galant look impressively grim.

I don't think it was scoots- I think it was someone looking at a Laguna and the rest of us trying to dissuade him. The Galant looks even more grim than you think, because it's got a nasty big scratch/paint transfer above the OSR wheelarch (see ad for more shite porn).

That seems good value to me. I've no idea how they drive but I've always liked the shark nose front. Maybe put Cav's dent pulling skillz to use?
