windscreen repairs?

Anybody had this done through their insurance? My mondy has a couple of chips, however don't really want to go through my insurance as they seem to be treating such "incidents" as claims, and although you think your getting a bargain you'll pay for it at renewal time.

 

Any advice?

I had a chip repaired through the Post Office insurance, no effect come renewal time (I didn't renew but it isn't treated as a claim)

There are a fair few folks out there who can sort screen chips for a few quid if you don't want to use the insurance.
