M'coli Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 They're repltiles, so don't regulate their body temperature like we do. They also hibernate when the temperature gets low enough, so there's no need to freeze them to keep their meat fresh, just refrigerate and they'll hibernate. So when you need a Sunday roast*, take one out of the fridge and straight into the oven, upside down with a bit of pastry - there's no need for a pie dish, the shell works wonders.
Vin Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 The vet recommended that my mate put Speedy & Scooter - his two tortoises, in the fridge. I never did know why (TBH I don't think my mate did either). Now I do
Guest Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Bangerfan - why cant they race p6s is the base unit too fragile or too strong? Think spedeworth are trying to keep it to just p4s, p5s and westys as thats what were raced in the early days . As for p6's they have never been a popular banger due to the front suspension setup collapsing . in banger circles there known as a joey after the famous blue peter interview with joey deakon and the steering resembling his spaz legs after 1 hit
