TBH all they will say is that she should have entered the competition but the newspaper article is a bit misleading, I'm sure there's a LOTS of 1 owner Vauxhalls still knocking about in the area much older then a 1986 Nova.

1990 Astra was our local winner. But the competition was for 1 owner cars and I believe people dont hold on to them like in the old days.

My Aunt has now had contact with 9 other local Vauxhall owners who have all had their cars since new, one was bought in 1959!

I bet whoever thought up that comp is kicking themselves, no-one is gonna be arsed to enter it but when they publish the results you can bet your house that some clever sod is going to come out the woodwork with a 1922 Vauxhall Prince Henry that they great grandad bought back in the day and is still going to the shops in once a week.

I live in Letchworth and I've never seen her. I shall keep a beady eye. There are two shitty Nova saloons I've spotted a couple of times but thats about it on the classic front.
