i was looking at a car on fleabay.... an X reg and he has it down as a 2001 model.... but i thought Y reg and 51 plates were the only 2001 plates

 

am i missing something here???

I think it is

 

X - Sept 2000 - Feb 2001

Y - Mar 2001 - Aug 2001

51 - Sept 2001 - Feb 2002

 

but the months might be slightly out.
