Well, I've thought long and hard about this, and decided that it's a pity to have this car sat in my garage. I really love it, but if I can get what it's worth, I might as well let it go.

So, on with the car. It's had two previous owners, both old fellas, and it's a VERY tidy and honest example. The gent I bought it off in 2007 was giving up driving as he was 78, and was only using the car to go to Tesco once a week. He told me he'd had it serviced annually, but hadn't kept the bills. I have no reason not to believe this, as all the filters were super clean. It also had a brand new Toyota battery just before I bought it. It's showing 38000 miles, again no proof, but absolutely no reason to doubt it. It still has a "new" smell about it, and is very very good inside.

On the outside, it's got a couple of scabs as the photos show. One at the bottom of the passenger door, that has gone through a bit. One next to the fuel cap and one near the chrome trim on the rear quarter which have been Kurusted and touched up, and a bit of crust on one rear arch, again Kurusted and touched up. Altogether though, it's very good on the body. The front end is mint, front panel, wings bonnet are all rust free, tailgate is rust free, N/S rear quarter/arch is rust free.

Up to now, this car has never been welded, although I think there may be a couple of small holes at the rear of the sills. If this is the case when I MOT it, they'll be cut out and welded flush so as not to be seen.

Viewing is more than welcome, let me know and I'll get some biscuits in. Any other questions or if you want more photos of specific bits, just let me know, and I'll get on it. Located Westhoughton, Bolton, just off the M61 and about 15 mins from M6.

Phone me on 07796 962009 if you want to know more.

As soon as I posted this thread, I asked Mrs S "How long before Jon posts about this?"
