AS in Glasgow

Thought you might be interested in a piece of AS I picked up recently.

It was advertised locally for £200. It's a 1.6 auto.

 

 

 

The old chap didn't want it to go to the GTI brigade, so after a bit of negotiation I drove away £170 lighter but with another Pug.

 

It now has an MOT and is working well.

Unfortunately this is not a rallye but an automatic. I fitted the XS wheels, have added a phase 1 GTI tailgate spoiler even though this is a phase 2 205. Trigger the stripes are part of the rallye kit which I had for my old 205 diesel.

That's pretty tidy; I picked up a K-reg 1.1 Zest in the west end of Glasgow about two years ago for a hundred quid with short T&T and my mate's still running it two MOTs later. It's a damn fine little buggy, ended up in Rotherham with it last winter which was... different.
