Leeds HotRods -- Drag car content..

Another month, another HotRod meet at Leeds. You could tell by the weather that it was going to be a good one yesterday, and it didn't disappoint. This was the place to be if you like uncorked headers in public places.

 

You'll see that Ive reverted to using my camera and as ever Ive done what I can in the limited space for pic taking

 

Firstly, a couple of drag cars. They'd just stopped in on the way to York for a Sunday full of racing.

 

Not much Capri left here... and loud doesn't do the noise justice.

 

Bens Pink Pop was equally loud, talk of mid-high 9's and 140+ terminals made it one of, if not the, quickest in the carpark (and probably the area)

 

The Shoguns' big slicks left a little bit of Hoosiers finest on the tarmac

 

2 old fords running RV8's

 

Lovely Chevy is a gorgeous colour...

 

Mega low Dually was hot. I loved the embossed panels, Ive not seen it done before.

 

I'm warming to bikes in general

 

We had a good wonder round this Fairlane. It looked very honest, I could see myself in it for sure..

 

 

Big Caddy captivated my Dad, I wonder if I can convince him its a good idea...

 

 

That gorgeous Kustom Zeph' again. Glad to see it out and about after its lucky escape last month

I remember very few names of the people I meet, for instance the chap that you were talking to when I walked upto you I met at least a couple of years ago and I can't for the life of me remember his name, hell, I can't even remember his screen name...
