Renault 11 Turbo rad needed

A friend needs one ASAP its a 1985 car and the rad is oil/water colled,but no-one can supply the correct one?

Er, can you not use a Volvo 480 Turbo rad? Should be the same capacity because the same 1721 cc engine was used.

Pretty sure a 1985 11 Turbo has a 5 Turbo engine.

11 Turbo is a 1.4 but it appears to have a unique rad.

Just get it rebuilt .I use vGuildford Rads- in Cranleigh. They'll collect, quote, sort & return.

Guildford rads can,t do it,they supplied an exchange unit and it was wrong!

They are good,but this seemed to stump them,its a real mess and the ends are cracked.

Weird. The 5 GT Turbo was basically similar to the 9/11 Turbo, yet the Renault part numbers are totally different. Shame, as there are loads of new copper core 5 rads on Ebay. Hardly dare mention it, but chez Renault? Will cost the earth, but they've been supplying me with trim for a 27 year-old Renault 9 just recently, so must be worth a try.
