Citroen GS/A and Ami Rally, 17/18/19 June *more pics added*

Hi all,

 

Any southern shiters after a gallic shite fix this weekend, come along to the Tilford Rural Life Centre, nr Farnham. Sunday is the main rally day where all the cars will be lined up etc., but anyone's welcome to pop in on the Saturday, where there'll no doubt be a convoy drive to a local pub for lunch and a barbie in the field adjacent to the Centre in the evening. I'll be there with my GSA, and I know these will be there:

 

 

 

Warning: I cannot overemphasise the ORANGENESS of this beauty! Seats too!

Hey- I didn't this notice this thread until today but I popped along to this Rally yesterday - I was the one in the lone 2CV! I didn't know there was another Autoshiteist there . Which GSA was yours?

 

P.S.- That N-reg GS Break was indeed very, VERY ORANGE. Lovely.

Woah, very nice shots! I love that pickup C15 you can see in the background of one shot.

 

That white panel wagon GS in the first post is unspeakably rare. I believe the only GS variant that's less common is a two door wagon like the white one but with windows.

Thanks for sharing your pics, Jozza - I arrived after 1pm in the afternoon so admit I don't remember seeing a couple of the cars in your pics like the LNA

By the way this one is for sale:

 

 

 

1975 GS Pallas C-Matic.

 

I drove it round the field. Apart from hunting at idle - prob a carb blockage or air leak - it was bob on. The interior has been retrimmed in a bright red cloth which wasn't to my taste - it looks fine in a DS but doesn't quite do it for me... I can find out how much if anyone is interested. The car is currently located in Aldershot, Surrey.
