car polisher advice

Ok, I have three cars to properly polish - one with faded paint all over (the white XM), one with faded bonnet and wing (crash repair) and the other is the motorhome , where the cab could do with a wash and polish.

So, it seems like a good idea to buy a hand-held electric polisher (or hint for one for father's day).

I have screwfix, halfords and machine mart all local but what do you advise I get - up to about £50.

Ta in advance.

They have (or they used to when I last went there 3 days ago) a few as a 'special purchase' item at the local Aldi at 15 quid apiece. Surely that's cheap enough to be worth trying.

You want a random orbital posisher if you're going to be machine polishing. Also, don't polish one area too long, polishers have a nasty habit of burning the paint :)

Just get the kids to polish the cars and motorhome as your Faither's day treat.
