Sunday evening coming, about 7pm at the KFC, Fife Leisure Park, just off the M90 (Dunfermline)

I know it's a bit short notice, and isn't the most central location; but it's an existing monthly meet, and I'll 99% definite be there, armed with camera.

Failing that, there's the open day, at the Bus Museum the following Sunday.

Sorry Tiff! Due to a serial SNAFU situation, I only got about 20 mins anyway, before everybody left in a pall of tyre smoke. I'm bloody annoyed with myself, 'cos I was looking forward to having a bit of time to chat with peeps about stuff, and hopefully have some of us meet up. Ah well, better luck next time!

I did actually manage to find some daylight under this Merc sled. It's clearly not low enough then

Finally got here. Bit late...

 

Damn, I buggered off 10 mins too early. Ended up refitting a head to a Wolseley 15/60 on the way home... so not a wasted evening.

 

Did you not get a pic of the matt black firebird with the growing puddle of coolant under it??

Spotted the puddle after he'd left. It didn't sound too healthy, to be fair. I know those engines are damn tough, but they aren't indestructible!

I didn't take as many pics as I would've liked, mostly 'cos I got sidetracked looking at the blower + NOS setup on the red + white LT Camaro, and going over the red '32 lowboy with lustful eyes...

 

Edit; I'm only up this late, 'cos I've spent hours going over this. I wonder how it would work, starting with a complete LDV chassis?
