Is it wrong that I like the "All New Mongoose Sprint T Roadster"?

 

Slightly worried about the idea of schlepping a big 'ol V8 into something made from fibreglass and Poxhall Victor bits though... Still, it'd be quick.

I rather like the Mongoose kit too, I remember ad’s for that one.

 

Thinking of kits and specials reminded me of journalist Peter Filby, whose name always seemed to be associated with the kit car world. Did a quick Google on him, but I almost wished I hadn’t: http://www.kit-cars.com/fff/filbyfactfile1.html

 

He’s ‘comically’ referred to as Fibly and even Filthy on several occasions. I didn’t think the kit car world could be so complicated! There again, who’d have thought a forum about rubbish old cars could go like it did over the weekend...

Ooh, Ruska - another name to fill my Dutch heart with pride. I liked the Sprinter and Regina (even put a tick next to the photos in my car yearbooks when I was 10).

 

What might this be? I'd drive one.
