Autoshite Engine Crane Rental Service?

Guys,

 

HSS have let me down, the engine crane I reserved has gone missing

Anyone in my rough East Midlands area got one I can borrow? There'll be cash, beer or a drawing of a cat in it for you...... Was hoping to make a little progress on the car soon but I work all the hours that hire shops open apart from this morning!

You're attempting this alone? How are you going to get the flywheel on tight? (Unless it has on one already that's worth £££ as it may be a DMF... eBay£££££££ Rare) don't forget to do the cambelt BEFORE you get it in the hole.... Better visibility.. If you get stuck, I may be free in a week.

Well I was going to plan ahead..... probably not alone, my shit tools are already starting to fail on me but I'm definitely going to need a crane even if I only get the old engine out with it and start swapping bits and checking it over - the new one is without aircon, PAS and alternator for example.

I'm conscious of taking up all your time to be honest! The more I can get done prior to any very greatfully received help is a bonus. There's already a flywheel on the new engine, but yes a belt kit is being sorted as it loops around the engine mount - nice design! - and there's oil all over the one that's there.

 

Anyway. Shouldn't you be getting pissed?
