A 1990 Toyota Camry 'V20' estate car in the car park of my local Tesco this morning. I wish that The Volvo was as clean and tidy:

Note the random TV2age in the top right of the photo ;)

There's a saloon or two knocking about, up here; no estates that I've noticed. Must've been quite rare in the first place.

01/08/2009 to be precise, mine was more of a shite spec but looked in equally good condition.

There's a seriously older one (1984) on Autotrader, which seems to be in good condition but the (trade) seller has priced it somewhat optimistically at £1795. Still, I guess it could sell for somewhere near that if he has the patience to wait for a Camry enthusiast (Spottedlaurel?) to come along.

A family friend had a metallic blue 1984 Camry for quite some time in the late 1980s. I appreciated its styling even then :)

It truly is the height of car-styling. Clean, flowing lines with just a little bit of boxiness thrown in for good measure, plus a large enough glass area for excellent visibility.

Much of what was being offered by Japanese manufacturers in the mid-1980s was very stylish in my opinion. Some of the cars that weren't sold over here - such as the Nissan Leopard and Toyota Soarer - were absolute stunners :)
