Well that was quite good - Mrs Hoker and myself took ourselves off to Wollaton Park earlier to walk the ole doggie. Only to get there and find a full Steam/Caravan/Classics/Bikes etc fair in full swing! Apologies for the atrocious photos, and also for not taking more - batteries in camera died....:(

Surely at least one of you lot were there too? Thought I recognised some faces a few times but then wasnae sure.....

This guy was ace - folding caravan - towed by Robin estate, which had two folding Brompton bikes in the back of it. Proper has his camping mojo sorted!

Have never seen this on a car before - can't have been terribly easy to see from behind the wheel I guess... Nice touch tho..

And this was hiding in Sainsburys on our way home - Nice!!

How many days are there is April?

Nice pics though. I could get my groove on for some kind of classics caravan now. I think.

Went for a wander around Wollaton myself, had a very nice day. Spotted quite a bit including that blue 740, a 205 GTi in a light blue colour I don't think I've ever seen before, a tidy XR3i and an E plate 323. Spot of the day for me was the M plate Volvo 850 with paramedic livery at the First Aid tent, looked quite tidy!

Those tiny caravans were ace, that Reliant Robin had original dealer plates and window sticker from a local dealer, can't remember the name now... Not sure about those Cortina based campers though

Oh, and the Traction Engines were MINT.

Unless it was Miami blue - which is the strong mid blue metallic, then it wasn't a GTi.

They were only available in Red, White, Black,Silver, Graphite Grey and on later ones Miami Blue and Sorento Green.

The light blue metallic was Topaz blue and was a popular colour for XS models.

Sorry for the anorak moment. Looked like a good show.

A bloke who's fucked off with people saying "Hey! look at that Ford Pilot"

That explains it then, thought it wasn't quite right. Only saw it from a distance, it must have been an XS with 1.9 alloys on it.

Saw that E plate 323 myself. Thought it was the star of the show tbh....
