Gonna 'bay it this week, I've had it since December and apart from spending a shit load on it I just don't drive it, cracking motor with only 40k on it!

I have just got to make a small repair to the throttle linkage so I can out of the barn and will have photos hopefully by tomorrow.

Tell me about the FSO?

A 91 J registered 125p 12cwt pick-up must of been one one of the last made and imported into the country I would think. My grandpa bought second hand in June 93 and used on his farm but was only ever used for light duties mainly for going down to the pub!

He has to give up driving now and I took it on with the thought of using it myself on my farm, but I couldn't bear to ruin it.

It has done 24,500 miles approximately, and has been off the road for a year now but has been under cover. I can verify the mileage as it is still on the factory fit Stomil tyres!

I have had it on a ramp, and was told the underside is still solid the only rust is superficial a bit round the windscreen sill seam and wheel arch edges and various scratches round the load bay, the main problem is all the bushes are knackered and I am BUGGERED if I can find any and this needs to be done for the MOT.

Also the hazard light relay has since given up, and the passenger side repeater is shot. There is a small dent in the bonnet and the driver side wind regulator is broken. Also for some reason the drivers side door was changed (Grandpa said it was damged on the ferry when it was imported?)and is thus missing the LS coach stripe.

I think that's all the bad points but I haven't started for a couple months, but it is original although not mint by any means so does require TLC to get roadworthy and to preserve for years to come.

I'm not after a lot for it, just a loving home this really must be rare now and deserves to be preserved I think.

While Messrs Weasel & Bollox are fighting over the Ital myself and Mr Bickle will be pistols drawn!I'd love the FSO but after a chat to my trade insurance company today when they politely enquired whether I was ever going to sell a car or just keep buying I think I should oust a few first....added a Merc & VW today see! Might be a nice drive out in the Daf mind!Anyway Mr Bickle, isn't one FSO / Polski Fiat enough trouble?

Not as swish as it looks 1.7 HL, Champagne & Paprika, 40k, service history, recent clutch and cam belt (1.7), really lovely clean and original, I bought it off an old duffer for £200 with damage to the off side doors and rear wing after a truck hit it, I had it all repaired for another £450 excluding the door I had to find so I reckon I'm down about £8 - 900 or so which I can never hope to recoup as it still needs a few little bits especially around the lower wheel arches, goes really well though, started instantly on Saturday after 2 months! Honestly not sure of it's value I'm just glad it's still here so I'll be happy with £750 or thereabouts, tax until end of July, MOT Jan 09Why don't you buy it, it loves you very much!
