Justin Case Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Forget Solihull's finest and get yourself a Daihatsu Fourtrak, an earlier one with beam axles for bonus shite points. Excellent for towing your French shite back when it fails and it won't take any time out of what you spend on fixing them. Win-win
Pete-M Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 I've had loads of old Range Rover Classics. Love 'em to bits. If you can find a well sorted one with LPG, that is solid, then they're truly superb. I'd swap my XJR for a nice Rangie Vogue SE Classic on gas, any day of the week. Just because they're so bloody useful.
garethj Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 The Discovery is even less reliable than a Defender, and bits are more difficult to get at. A bloke at work has one, and whilst it’s a step up in terms of reliability from the Jeep he had before, it seems to take up lots of his weekends. But you can get a much better £1500 Discovery than a £1500 Defender
