Getting my V6 Safrane on classic insurance.

Anyone know a company who will insure my Safrane on a limited mileage as a classic??

Its on a normal car policy with more than and has done next to no miles in the last year, and its not cheap insuring it that way.

Any ideas ,its 1994.

Try 1st Quote. 1994 shouldn't be a problem.

I first insured my 1990 Volvo 740 estate on a classic car policy in 2008 with Footman James, who cover me for less than £150 a year. Perhaps you should give them a try? ;)

I think that the minimum age for a 'normal' car to qualify for classic car insurance is ten years old, so you should have no problems getting your Safrane covered, even though it's not most peoples' idea of a classic car. However, given the choice between a rusty old MGB or other such sports-shite and an immaculate, fully-loaded Safrane, I know which one I'd choose! :D

Footman James do anything over 15 years so 1994 isn't an issue.

They do my '92 Golf for £270 including breakdown cover, everyone else wanted £800+++
