If I want to cash in the tax for October on the Escort I take it I just need to get the disc and form in the post by tomorrow (30th) at the latest....i.e, the last day of the preceding month?

I've always beleived it be that they have to receive it by the last day of the month........check on their website, that should answer the question.

well, it says this on the form:

 

To get a refund for each full calendar month left on the tax disc,

you must post this filled-in form to us before the first day of the month

you want the refund from.

 

So as I read it, if it's posted tomorrow then it should be fine, I'll just make sure they use one of those printed stamps with the date on and get a proof of posting.
