Which Engine do you like the best?

In response to the other thread here are my favourites

 

The B series Volvo 4 pots - tough as old boots, easy to work on

BMC A series, I love the old A series but prefer it as fitted in the Moggy

BMC B series, always amazed at the power of the 1.8 unit which propels my camper van, parts thanks to the MGB are cheap

1980's Citroen/Pug Oil burners in 1.7 and 1.9 form - wonderful turbo diesels - set the standard for the future and made diesels serious competitors vs petrol

Daf 844cc flat 2cyl boxer - as fitted to the 44 - probably the toughest engine I have ever used

 

M30 BMW 6 pot

Jaguar XK as fitted to the XJ6
