Hayne's manuals - p&p only

I'm worried these are going to come through the ceiling as they are in the loft. How much are these to send p&p. I've managed to sell one since I've had them, so if anyone needs any, I should really shift as I have got too much un-necessary shite.

I've got to keep hold of Astra and Cav ones.

I'll have the bluey (the updated blue cover) one please! But can I just grab it next time I see you?

Postage on these is pretty expensive actually, the thicker ones can cost £3-4 to post coz they are so heavy.

What about a car boot sale?? Or maybe taking them to a show to sell them? People often want a fiver or so for them at boot sales.

I'll bring the Bluebird one no probs. I never even knew I had it, just spotted a Talbot Alpine one as well! Also Pug diesel engine!

I'm not getting out much as I have no car until I sell mine. :)

The offer of scanning in bits if anyone needs it is there.

I actually need manuals for the Mondeo and the Megane, both of which you have. I can't bring myself to part with the sort of money Halford's are asking, so how's about I see you some money on top of postage? Fiver each?

Certainly mate!

My 'papal' is stationmiek at btinternet.com, I'll send them on Monday with all my other courier stuff. :)

Sorry this has taken a while, bud. I'll get onto the Papal malarkey tomorrow, when I'm feeling more awake, then I'll PM you my details.

The cars decided I need the manuals - the Mondy's rear drums need doing, as does the Meg's washer bottle. O joy.

If the Mondeo's drum comes off the same way as the Escort's (complete with the inner hub flange) you'll find that two 6"ish lengths of M10 threaded rod will help keep everything in line. Haynes don't tell you that.

I've tried to send the money today, but the Bank of Scotland won't authorise it thro' Paypal. Wankers. Not to worry tho', I'll dig my prepay Mastercard out, and link it up to Paypal. Hopefully tomorrow. Sorry 'bout that!

The drums on the back end of the Mondeo don't have the access holes I'd need to 'screw' them off. I can't find an adjuster knockoff on the back either, or I'd do that, and just clean the drums and shoes up with Emery paper. 'Tis bloody annoying, as I worked on plenty of them back in '96/'97 when I worked for a Ford dealer. It's been a while, and so I need the manuals now... I'm sure those ones do integrate the inner hub flange, like you say, which makes them a pig to shift.

So now I have a Megane with driveshaft death rattles, and iffy ABS (linked problems), and a Mondeo with half an exhaust and one seized drum. Grrrreat. I'm so far up Shit Creek, I've found the source.
