Some great stuuf there. Is the paratrooper aircraft a Dakota?

Posted

Yes it is - t'was a lovely beast.

It was well worth the visit, and I'll be going back next year - with a better camera  . My friend Stu (who hasn't been on here for a while) wanted the white Cortina.

No I forgot about the JPS transporter!!!!! :(

Didn't get a chance to go see the Benetton F1 car either as we watched all the displays and had to move sharpish after the last one, trying to beat the mass exodus..... but ended up in a huge jam anyway

I went to this as well! I actually got a photo of your BX too, I had a sweep of the car park in the hope of finding some interesting cars, and there was plenty. I thought it was familiar when I saw it.

Just found this post and WHAT A DO! Excellent! Now the romantic part of the story: in 1982-1983 I lived in Dunsfold Village, in a thatched cottage, with an air hostess... The village had 2 pubs, a shop and a post office... If this sounds like the nearest thing to heaven without actually dying... Then you're right, it was! :D:D
