Due to being in Hungary at the time to visit my Auntie's new house (I recommend Hungary if you havent been - had a great time) I recorded it and watched last night. I enjoyed it although it didnt really focus on the history of the car as such.

 

I am really looking forward to going back to Hungary next summer and want to check out Ukraine and Romania at the same time. I was a little perturbed by the reaction to the Romanian drivers passing through Hungary and have heard that there are issues with taking a hire car from Hungary to Romania. SO, I might take my own car. Question is; has anyone done a tour of Romania/Ukraine and are there any real issues I may need to take into account?

 

Anyway, I reckon this is worthwhile watching if you havent seen it yet!

Yep, I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it!

As you say, not a great deal of information about the actual cars but as a social history it was fascinating

I saw some of this when it was on More4 a couple of weeks ago but I had to retire to bed before the end.

 

I had to get up early for work the next morning. Will try an catch the last hour or so on 4OD when I can.
