Station Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Search for any car name in ebay in vehicle parts and accessories and you're bound to get the usual LED BULBZ and wipers you have to sift through. I've done this for a while and found it gets rid of all the shite you don't need: There's an option to filter the seller type in the list on the left of the screen:
Alexg Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 That might do it, rather than get 4 pages of key fobs and car mats
autofive Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 .... and clutches i usually search by location and some some twaty seller 10 miles from me sells clutches, has about 400 listed
Mr Lobster Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I'm finding that even after you filter out all the crap on ebay, its getting harder and harder to find car stuff that I actually would buy - though maybe thats because panels and decent mechanical stuff is fairly scarce for old Renaults these days.
Milford Cubicle Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Just stick '-bulbs -wipers' in the search field.
Mash Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Just stick '-bulbs -wipers' in the search field.+1 Then you'll just get the one proper Honda Quintet part in the world showing
Station Posted August 17, 2010 Author Posted August 17, 2010 This method removes all the 'mass' sellers who only sell bulk crap.
Guest Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Very useful bit of info, it's not just the bulbs and wipers but all the other generic-fit toss. Wish they'd just change the search back to how it was in the "old days".
Mr_Bo11ox Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I like all that stuff and now have over 1000 bulbs, wipers and +20bhp power mod chips in my collection.
Guest Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Any idea how I filter out all the Toyota Landcruiser* crap when I search for 'Volvo Amazon' on eBay? *Toyota released a slightly less porky variant of the Landcruiser in the late nineties called the Landcruiser Amazon, if you were wondering.
