That looks very good, care to share what you used? The BMW and the Jag are both yellowing.

I usually just use T Cut type stuff but had to get the G3 involved as they were quite bad. I then did T cut followed by a metal polish I've found works well on plastics. I do have a proper kit somewhere so I'll give them a coat of the anti UV stuff that's supposed to slow the yellowing

A tester bottle of ceramic coating should do the trick, that’s what I used. Either that or proper 2k lacquer- everything else typically involves being disciplined with reapplication every few months - sod that.

Gave the latest Lupo a clean yesterday, it's a bit of a 10 footer sadly as there are various bits of bodywork that leave something to be desired.

It's a shame, as underneath is really good, and it drives like the low mileage car it is. I'll do my best to tidy it up but it probably wants a respray to make it nice

Paintwork looks alright from the photos, whats the issue with it? Could maybe do with a once over with a MOP and some cutting compound to bring the yellow back a bit, looks tidy apart from that, and the dent in the wing.

This one's been boringly reliable for the Mrs to bimble about in, but the temp gauge started dropping to zero intermittently, which eventually upset it enough to bring on the EPC light as the poor thing had no idea what was going on.

Replacement almost couldn't be easier, unplug wiring, pull the circlip up, swap for new and plug back in

Of course nothing's ever entirely straightforward, this one's so low I had to drive it onto a brick so I could get a bowl under it, and when pulling out the sensor, the o ring always stays in the hole without fail, but I expect it now and have a pick in my hand to hoik it out before too much coolant has escaped.

Job done in literally 5 mins

Oh and Febi Bilstein make the best sensors etc as far as I'm concerned, fit and forget
