Cavcraft Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Hey, the site below is a bit of a mong fest a lot of the time, but every now and then a gem comes up.Like this for example... http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/1245452/renault_4_gtl/ I'm thinking 1983 must make it one of the last ones and the hard bit (importing) has been done. No idea what it's worth, and guessing the likelihood of him getting a decent motorbike or Transit must be pretty slim, but could be a nice car for someone. Also on the classic cars section are the following (amongst others)... Pretty decent looking Cedric. Fairly sure this is/was an RR member's car...http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/1246204/ve ... c_3l_auto/ Ford Quantum kit car...http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/1244068/ford_quantum/ Mk1 Cavalier...http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/1236540/19 ... alier_rwd/ Slight barry'd early SD1...http://www.swapz.co.uk/swapz/1236184/ro ... _series_1/ I'm a member on there so if anyone wants me to ask any of the swappers/sellers a question let me know. Most will take cash despite it being a swapping site by the way.Oh, and if you get bored have a look at the 'normal' car section and ROFL your pants went at some of the morons.
Twiggy Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Thanks for that Cav, looks a good site, I`ve just signed up.
pogweasel Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 The whole idea of 'swapping' anything with plebs fills me with revulsion.

Albert Ross Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I think the R4 was made and imported until 1987..... I stand to be corrected of course, as I might be talking absolute bollocks.............
GJR 11L Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I think the R4 was made and imported until 1987..... I stand to be corrected of course, as I might be talking absolute bollocks.............Well if you are, then so am I, 'cos that was how I understood it and I've seen a couple of 'D' plate, RHD ones. That said, they were still being built as recently as 1994, but I don't think the UK had the pleasure of late cars. Just joined the site and, OMG! That 4's in Ashington, so not at all far from GJR Towers.Hmm, How Marra, wull ye tek a 1968 Jackson tumble dryer for the car? Dryer has a shagged bearing in the drum and needs a belt, but no rust and comes with real, 1970s belly button fluff....
