The rover SD1 from 7:45 onwards has always got me going. With the other videos with tony pond had me wondering how you can throw a big land boat round a rally track.

That’s my Dad’s old one, he built it in the 80s and rallied it up until the mid 90s. It then sat for 15 years until we converted the barn that it was living in. The guy who bought it did a full rebuild and it’s changed hands a few times since then. For most of its life it was yellow, only getting the replica livery in the past few years. It was never very competitive, spending most of the time going sideways…
