Smart collection thread!

I was all set to do a train trip up to Hull and Sheffield to try two Smart Forfours-- both diesel, one auto (£2750) and one manual (£2000).  However, last night my wife found the bigger (well 1.5) petrol engined one with the semi-auto box for only £1500 on Facebook so I am now heading south to give it a quick spin and take it home... if the semi-auto box is acceptable to drive, I have no idea.  Basically she's hooked me up with a random bloke's number who sells shit old cars and I'm on my way to meet him.  Feels odd as I never get out much these days!

First stop was nursery to drop my son off in the Volvo 480, which is now dumped at a little village station nearish to us.  No pics, but it has been in daily use for the month and making me smile to do so.  With salt coming this fun has to end for commuting, hence the Smart-- built in the same Dutch factory too!

Accidentally took my son's cuddly toys with me so on a bit of a deadline to get back with them before he finishes nursery.

I don't have a smartphone so am using train WiFi, laptop and old digital camera.  I look like a grade A* mentalist posing his toys, taking a pic with the old camera, plugging it in to a big old laptop and sending it on.  I'm sure you all identify!

You'd not catch me on a train doing weird stuff with a laptop and mobile. 

Well, you could. Dropped a Bini off down at Swansea and now I am on a train with no charging/USB cable for the phone (boy - do I plan well). I'd be interested to hear how the Smart Semi-Auto goes.

(I must remember a soft toy next time)
