Total long shot but anyone know where an old 2-door Lagonda (preferably without an engine) might be up for sale anywhere? All wrecks considered.

Ah no not the Aston Masrtin Lagonda, an actual Lagonda from the fifties or thereabouts, pref a 2 door convertible. It's for a mate who wants to get one and drop a V8 into it, hence the preference for one without an engine. Could be a long wait until one comes along.

On the left-hand-side , going West on the A348 into Poole, there was a field of them, stacked two and three high.. I joke not  (the actual area is called Longham, just before the bridge over the Stour river) The chap who runs "Aston Service Dorset" collected them and hoarded them there, for all to see, and wonder over, behind a low brick wall.Might be worth contacting him, could be an odd shell or three still kicking about... such stuff dreams are made of: I am sure someone would have a photo of them piled high !Trigger, I doubt you will see them on "streetview", as I believe he re-developed the area recently, but the workshops are just across the road; with old beasties covered in cloth in a display window, who knows what might still lie behind them...
