New bits!

Unfortunately the threads were thoroughly seized into the adjuster. The left hand thread side came off OK but the outer, no dice. Various techniques were employed including fire and boiling in oil (my house now stinks)

Impact at a garage also couldn't budge it, only managed to get a couple of turns before it locked solid again, so time to get the big boy tools out

With the ball joint back in the hub, I managed to wind the adjuster off, then cut the thread and removed the nut. Look how knackered the thread is

Slung the new bits on this morning and dropped it off for a brake pipe and retest

DONE. MoT'd and passed back to the old man. My front lawn is never going to be quite the same...
